Update on house

Well DH and I went back with our family last night to take another look at the house we like. We took a box of chocolates for the tentants as we were in the same situation as them 2 years ago when the house we were renting was for sale - so we feel for them having to have people walk through "their" home!
Anyway, we went through with a checklist and tried to be as thorough as we could (without being obsessive). So we still like the house, there are some things we could do to make it better over time, but as it is we could move in without doing much! The family seems happy enough - they pointed out things to look out for/ think about, but over all were pretty impressed with the house.
So hopefully we will put in an offer today/ tomorrow, and get onto having a conveyancer/ solicitor to assist us.
It's very exciting - so we have fingers and everything crossed!!!

A house...?

We are in the middle of looking for a house to buy. We got approved on Friday so the hunt is on :) DH and I are looking a 2nd time at one of the houses we saw yesterday, so we have our fingers crossed. I am so excited to be looking for real - not just wishing! Yay!!
The house we like is actually a townhouse with 3 bedrooms and also a study/ loft (perfect for scrapbooking). It has lots of room for our things. Just a bit excited - though we still have to put an offer in...fingers crossed!!!!!!!

What if...?

Don't you just wonder "Why?" sometimes? "What if..?" is also creeping in to my head a lot lately.

A LO about my achievements - I chose to reflect on my 20's and what I had done.

This challenge was to include a photo of me and some journalling about me - I chose to write about what will happen and what I hope will happen this year.

My classroom is nearly all set up - yay! I spent 3 full days in there, will spend Tues afternoon in there as well after the staff meeting. At the moment it still has the previous teachers resources stacked on the tables, I hope he is able to get them out of there on Tuesday ok!!

a day for relaxing...?

I am trying to relax - I promise I am? I just don't think I know how to! I'm having weird dreams about school and students and work I still have to do before I go back!! arrghhh!!!!

Anyways I tried to tidy up my scrap space and then I got inspired and altered a clock and made 2 cards for a swap (only 10 more to make ;) )...so it's not quite as tidy as it was, but it's not too bad! I'll try and take photos of my creations tomorrow.

Speaking of tomorrow I will be meeting up with my old team of teachers (how sad it is to say that now) for lunch. Should be a good day! :D

Christmas/ New Year

I hope that your Christmas and New Year holiday period has been a good one - filled with lots of fun and happiness! Best wishes for 2008 - here's to a great year!

This year I will be starting at my new school - but will still be teaching Prep :D
DH starts work at his new school too!
We hopefully will be looking into buying a house (and fingers crossed for a new car too!).
So 2008 should be pretty exciting!! :D
